is a community organization established by Damian DePauw that aims to foster relationships between the residents of Newburgh, NY with the use of a timebanking system, in which members of the community exchange acts of service, using time as currency rather than money. It is a way for residents to provide help for one another without the expectation of monetary compensation and creates a stronger community fabric.

The organization takes a grassroots approach and encapsulates the message of “by the people, for the people.” We developed the logo and branding with that in mind, aiming to suggest relatability and trust by employing a hand-drawn style for iconography and type elements. To further connect with Newburgh residents, we included blue and gold in the color palette as a reference to the school colors of the Newburgh Free Academy. We also developed a campaign that reflected Newburgh’s rich history of civic action and social participation.
